During the week of Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta, NFL Alumni (NFLA) and NFL Pro Football Legends will unite with the City of Atlanta Police Department (APD) officers to participate in a preventive health screening event starting Tuesday, January 29 through Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Atlanta Public Safety Headquarters in downtown Atlanta.
The health screening event is an effort to give back to the community, make a positive impact and support the Atlanta police officers by sharing the same health screenings for officers free of charge, in state-of-the-art mobile units provided by Brightview Medical alongside Gwinnett Medical’s Sports Medicine Program. Brightview Medical is a preventative medical healthcare organization and Gwinnett Medical’s Sports Medicine Program, Concussion Institute, is an approved provider for current and former professional football players who suffered concussions during their athletic careers.
